Scholarships

The mission of the Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students enrolling in post-secondary institutions such as universities, colleges, community colleges and trade schools. The Scholarship primarily focuses on two or four-year academic programs. However, certificated / licensing programs such as paralegal training, information technology, ultrasound technicians, medical records personnel and nursing are also eligible.

College Field of Study

Business/Entrepreneur
Majoring in any business related career.

STEM
Majoring in any field related to science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

Education
Majoring in a field related to facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.

Vocational
Seeking trade specific careers.

Athletics
Majoring in fields related to physical education and health.

Law/Public Service
Majoring in law, law enforcement, or any type of public service.

Liberal Arts
Majoring in fields related to history, sociology, geography or have not yet decided.

Applicant Procedure

Complete application form available for download or from student's guidance counselor.

The student must complete the application by March 22, 2023 by 5:00pm.

All applications are reviewed and selected by the scholarship committee.

In 2015, LEAF began its student scholarship program in which we have given 79 student scholarships at a value of $122,000 as of today.
